The lemon lollipop daylily is a beautiful addition to any landscape. It has a rounded trumpet shape and the texture of the flower looks like crepe. The bright lemon yellow flower bud brings an uplifting cheer to the heart and this photograph was taken just after a rain shower that brought a freshness to the soul.
My hope is that you enjoy this pretty flower as much as I enjoyed photographing it in the early morning. Taken in central Wisconsin in June.
