This is a photograph of a stained glass window at a winery in Mauston, WI. The winery had found several old pieces of stained glass in a church that was being demolished and they had the windows restored.
I especially love stained glass as I was a professional stained glass artist for eight years in Texas. We restored many stained glass windows and it was a challenge to find pieces of glass that would match the glass that had been in the windows for many, many years.
As always the colors in stained glass are generally vibrant and beautiful.
